Puppet Theatre
In the middle of the room stands the toy theatre where the puppet show that became famous through Goethe's description in the novel "Wilhelm Meister's Theatrical Mission" was staged. Given as a present to the four-year-old Johann Wolfgang, it inspired him time and again to imaginative and creative play. On loan since 1887 from the Historisches Museum, Frankfurt am Main.
